To develop our intellectual capital: CMISS member firms (represented by a Research subcommittee)
and OU faculty (headed by Associate Director of Research) will collaborate closely on developing
research projects, providing executive education and offering relevant workshops.
To develop our human capital: CMISS member firms (represented by a Personnel subcommittee) and
OU faculty (headed by the MIS Student Group’s Corporate Liaison) will collaborate on ways to help
MIS graduates realize their full potential, including their recruitment and development.
Opportunities for increased member interactions with students will include the integration of the
MIS student organization with CMISS, field projects, internships and online access to student resumes.
To develop our social capital: CMISS member firms (represented by a Membership subcommittee)
and OU faculty (headed by the Associate Director of Membership) will collaborate to increase
membership in CMISS and improve member involvement in CMISS activities.
A portfolio of research topics aligned with business leader thinking and key vendor investments.
The model for effective collaboration and partnership on key IT issues.
